George Bousias
Born in Brisbane and started to learn how to play the Bouzouki at the age of 14, he brought his first Bouzouki from his childhood best friend World Famous Bouzouki player Manolis Mihalakis well known for his 15 year career with Viki Mosholoiu ,and many other singers such as Tolis Voskopoulos. Manolis Mihalakis also showed George Bousias the Greek dromos of the Bouzouki, from his early age career premier George Bousias was also fortunate enough to have worked and associated on many occasions with another Bouzouki player originally from Australia Chris Olympios who has been playing Bouzouki alongside Greek Idol Anna Vissi for a number of years.
George has also performed as support to famous Greek singers such as George Dalaras, Giannis Parios,Haris Alexiou ,Marinella, Pantazis and has performed alongside many others ,recently with Sarbel,and Makis Christodoulopoulos and many more great artists and amazing musicians such as Don Lebler and Gavin Pearce the legendary Peter Moscos , Thanasis Zervas and Panagiotis Plakias.
