Beggar's Blues Diary

'Beggar's Blues Diary'' is a rock band based in Athens Greece.
Founding memders Yannis Passas and Nikos Savvidis (a.k.a. Chili) formed the band in June 2008. Their debut EP "Pavement Stories" was released in April 4th 2009 by Modal Records. That followed many live performances across Greece and TV appearances.

"Pavement Stories" featured the radio single "Long Way Road" as well as other crowd pleasing tracks such as "Second Skin", "Other Side" and "They Didn't Believe".

At late 2010 the band and previous singer George Vanas ported ways and "Beggar's Blues Diary" continue as a trio with guitarist Yannis Passas taking the role of both singing and guitar playing. At the same period Alex Gavras joined the band and replaced Aggelos Tanis, which was the drummer until then.

The band has recorded their new album "Back To Basics" which is due to be released on October 2011 by Modal Records.
