Bezantakou Stella

Stella Bezantakou (Greek: Στέλλα Μπεζαντάκου), born in 1969, is a greek popstar, best known for her massive hits “Σαν μπλουζάκι” (Like a T-Shirt), “Τραλαλά τραλαλό” (Tralala tralalo) and her cover of “Τρελοκόριτσο” (Crazy Girl).
 
In 2003, Stella took part in Bar, a greek reality show, but was elliminated at the end of the third week. Two months later she was noticed by an executive from Sony and was offered a 2-album record deal. Her self-titled debut was released in September 2003, peaking at #1 for thirteen consecutive weeks and spawning 2 mega hit singles, “Σαν μπλουζάκι” and “Εγώ είμαι η Στέλλα”.
 
Having sold more than 100,000 copies in less than 4 months, the album was certified 3x platinum and was named Album of the Year.
 
Stella went back to the studio in October 2004 to record her sophomore album. “Όλα τα λεφτά” (All the Money) was released in February 2005 and proved more successful than it’s predecessor, selling over 150,000 copies in 6 months, gaining a 5x platinum certification.
