Bigalis Kostas

Costas Bigalis was born in Athens and at the age of nineteen,after winning a young singer/songwriters' contest,signed his first record deal with CBS Greece. His debut english-spoken album titled "BIG ALICE",was released in 1983 including the track "I MISS YOU" which became not only a smash hit,but also the number one single of the year 1984-1985. In 1989 he released his first greek-spoken album followed by ten more, three of which went gold and two platinum. In September 2005 his song "THE LIGHT IN OUR SOUL" climbed up to #3 of the swedish singles chart performed by the greek-swedish female singer HELENA PAPARIZOU,winner of the Eurovision song contest 2005. His interest is now put in the international songwriting industry,always motivated by his love and passion for music.
