They start in 1982 and next year they released 'Fireworks' ''7 with 3 songs. After some demo songs and gigs, vocalist left the band and they continue as a 3-piece. In the beginning of '90's, change their name to Birthward (without 82) and their sound to a hardcore-metal/crossover sound, released one lp and one mini-lp (if im correct). Before this, in 1987, some of them they team up together with some other nationalist skinheads and recorded the song 'North Epirus' under The Last Patriots name. As a band, Birthward 82 was never political and they dont have a clear dirrection....In the beginning, except The Last Patrtiots song, they had also a very strong relationship with the first ns/wp hellenes skinheads, especially of Pireaus (they come from this area) and their gigs supported by young nationalists. But in the other side (with the different sound in the '90's) they had relationship with red squatters and play for them....Anyway, will be always a part of hellenic skinhead (even was punks or herberts) movement.
