Chroma

"Chroma" is a relatively new band ,originally formed on February 2005. These were the days when Simon, Kostas and Manolis were creating music and songs on Simon’s home studio (actually it was a pc, a mixer and a microphone!).
 
Since then, the band has endured many changes in its line up and despite the difficulties and harsh conditions that a Greek-speaking pop-rock band has to face in Greece, it managed to record a decent demo (comprising of 12 songs), to present its work through various radio stations of Thessaloniki (Mythos, 89 Rainbow, Radio DETH), Kastoria and Ptolemaida, to give interviews on magazines and e-zines (Sound maker, PellaClub), to have a formal written offer from EMI records and lastly, to be qualified in the last phase of the Music Festival of Thessaloniki (16 songs out of 1300 in total… unfortunately the band was suspended due to legal reasons).
 
The band has performed in various live bars/clubs of Thessaloniki (Malt’n’Jazz Club, Mylos, Rock Bottom, “La Vita” Fix Club, Red Velvet) and has signed a contract with the independent record company “Melissa Music” (which is the offspring of the renowned producer George Pentzikis).
