Emmelon

The group of contemporary Greek music "Emmelon" was created in Athens , in spring 2004 from Leuteris Mauromatis, a musician who studied classical piano and theory of music at the Athenaeum conservatory. He has collaborated for many years with a lot of well known artists of contemporary Greek music scene.
 
The Group "Emmelon" showing significant sensitivity and respect towards the work of all the important Greek composers, manages to go through a long journey into the vast ocean of popular, traditional and modern Greek music presenting a program with various repertoires that combines all the above types of music and includes the work of composers who are worldwide famous and established such as, Manos Hatzidakis, Mikis Theodorakis, Stavros Xarhakos and many more.
