HIGH LEVEL STATIC stormed the electro clubs and Sideline-staff charts with their self produced mini CD in the Winter of 2001. The single “Absence” instantly became a hit and took its place in the hall of great electro pop tracks, right between ‘Beloved’ by VNV NATION & ‘Call The Ships To Port’ by COVENANT.
A lot of things have happened since that time and HIGH LEVEL STATIC strike back with their full length album on Trisol. “Shining” is preceded by a nifty little instrumental intro – a perfect start for the album. But this is after all a “dance” album, so the beats quickly take first place with their new version of their cult classic “Absence”, a track that is destined to cause havoc on dance floors all over the world for many years.
