Horodia Trikalon

The Municipal Choir of Trikala, Greece is an "a capella" choir, founded in 1976. It is a part of the Cultural Organization of the municipality of Trikala'.
 
The Choir has participated in several choir meetings and festivals both in Greece and abroad, such as the 7th International Choir Festival in Thessaloniki, the 11th International Choir Festival in Preveza, Kefallinia's Festival, the World Choir Competition, the International Festival of Athens 1994, the International Choir Competition "Festa Musicale" in Olomouc, Czech Republic 2003 (silver medal and 2nd place among 180 choirs all over the world), the Spring Concerts in Venezia", May 2004, the "World Competition, Budapest" 2005 (two bronze medals), the "Festival Dei Cori del Mediterraneo" Ercolano 2006, Cyprus 2007, International Choral Folklore Festival "I Castelli Incantati", Italy 2009.
 
 
Concerts have also been given in various places in Greece such as Athens, Thessaloniki, Zakynthos, Kozani, Volos, Alexandroupoli, Ioannina, and Florina; the choir has also been invited for concerts abroad, and more specifically in Cyprus, Hungary, Italy, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany and France.
