Karapanagiotidis Kostas

The popular artist Kostas Karapanagiotidis was born in Kleitos Kozani. He is a singer that has been singing the traditional songs of Pontos for thirthy years. He is also a songwriter, composer, and comes from a musical family. In additional to song, he has dedicated himself to dance, theatre, composing two choruses (Efxinos Leshi Veria and Efxinos Leshi Kozani), folklore, as well as countless radio and television shows.
 

He is a member of the committee of the Panhellenic Federation of Pontian Socieities (POPS). He was a candidate for parliament representative in the Prefecture of Imathia. He is currently a state advisor for the Prefecture of Imathia. He attempts with all of his specialties to contribute to the promotion of the issues dealing with Pontian Hellenism. He is aware of and values the contributions of the expatriated Pontians for the preservation of our cultural inheritance.
 

His tours in the USA, Canada, Australia, and in various countries in Europe have left countless pleasant memories to the expatriated Pontian community.
