Kemanetzidis Bambis

Babis Kemanetzidis was born in Edessa and was raised in Western Germany. He learned music at the age of 10. He comes from a musical family (his father Giorgos plays lyra, his brother Christos plays keyboards). He has been performing in Greece in nightclubs in Athens and Thessaloniki. He has worked together with the majority of Pontian artists. At the same time he composes and arranges musical works in the studio.

In addition to the Pontian musical traditions, Babis Kemanetzidis is a constant performer in Greek popular music. He performs clarinet and woodwind instruments, as well as the Pontian lyra, with such popular names as:
