Biography

Alekos Kitsakis was born in Preveza. His parents were farmers. The talent of Alekos was obvious from a very young age. In 1946 he went to Athens where he found the right connections and sang for the first time on a theatre stage in front of many people. That was his first step to the professional music career which was very successful.
