Klouvatos Gerasimos

He was born in Naxos in 1914. He came to Athens at very young age and settled down in Metaxourgio area. He learned bouzouki from his teacher Stefanos Spitabelos. In 1947 he started to record his first songs. His most creative time period was 1950, it was a time when he wrote his greatest hits. He has cooperated with many famous Greek artists and has released many albums. One of his most successful and famous hits is “Anapse to tsigaro”.
