Koutsangelidis Manos

Manos Koutsangelidis was born in Komotini in 1976. He started being interested in music since he was 8 years old. At his 11 he moved to Crete because of his father’s army duty. In Crete island young Manos started to learn about Byzantine music. Later he continued his studies in Byzantine Music School of Komotini. At the age of 15 he became a member of a band “Lalitades” and begun his professional career. Many other studies followed along with his work. A few years later he was teaching Byzantine music and musical instruments play in different Schools and Universities. After his accession to Athens he has released many albums and has performed on many stages.
