Lambrou Vera

Vera Labrou (Greek: Βέρα Λάμπρου), date of birth unknown, is a popular greek avant-garde/electro artist, mostly known for her massive hits “Το νινί σέρνει καράβι” (The Vagina Pulls Boat), “Αγόρι μου αρσενικό” (My Masculine Boy) and “Δώσε μου να πίνω τα υγρά σου” (Give Me to Drink Your Liquids).
 
Having been offered numerous record deals from major labels, she currently refuses to sign in any of them to keep up with her indie - unconventional profile she has developed the last years. She is a mother of 3, however she refuses to talk about her personal life in her interviews.
 
Vera debuted in 2004 through Minos-EMI with her hit album “Το νινί σέρνει καράβι”. Despite turning platinum within a week, it only managed to peak at #2 behind “Όλα τα λεφτά”, Στέλλα Μπεζαντάκου, her rival’s second album. The album spawned 3 radio singles, the title track “Το νινί σέρνει καράβι”, “Έτσι είμαι εγώ” and “Αγόρι μου αρσενικό”, which charted in the Greek Airplay Chart at #1, #2 and #5 respectively.
