Louka Maria

 Born in Heraklion, Crete, Maria Louka has already made an impression among the new generation of singers and composers in the Greek music scene. With her manners resembling old classic female singers, being modest and tactful, despite the youth of her age, she has fascinated the audiences with her clear and correctly tuned voice.
 
She started her studies on music at the Conservatory of Heraklion, and took on at the Greek Conservatory of Athens and attended the Department of Theatrical Studies at the “Theatre of Changes”. Nevertheless, she very soon moved on doing what she always wanted, performing. In the beginning, she was performing in music stages in Athens, where she was discovered by Dionisis Savvopoulos who invited her to participate at the music performance “Se Giortino Agonisma”, in collaboration with Nikos Papazoglou. Since then, the young artist has collaborated with artists such as Yiannis Markopoulos, Eleni Vitali, Miltos Pashalidis, Christos Thivaios, Sokratis Malamas, Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Yiannis Charoulis, Nikos Mamagakis, Manolis Lidakis etc.
