Lucky Funeral

Following the breakup of Under-V-Covers, Caterpillar and along with Mike of Bone To Rust, the Lucky Funeral were formed. Already having the experience from the past bands on the underground stoner/metal stage and with mood for creation, they immediately started the composition process. The outcome of the process was their first demo, titled “Oblation”, only 100 numbered copies of which were released about a month later.
Due to the limited number of copies the demo was sold out in just four days. The excellent impressions from the first lives of the band in the autumn of 2007 were just the verification that the band was ready to record their first full length album. Prior to that however, the L.F. came in agreement with the Trailblazer Records for the release of their debut. Following some lives and many hours in the studio, the homonym CD “Lucky Funeral” was ready to be released in the records’ stores.
Thus, in April 2008, having in hand their first official work, the band will give twelve live concerts all around Greece in order to promote their CD.
