Makridis Alexandros

I was born in Thessaloniki on 23 June 1980. I grew up in a musical environment hearing different kinds of music (Rebetika, Laika, Rock, Blues, Soul, Funk, Pop, Jazz, etc.). My older brother that was a guitarist made me love music and especially playing the guitar while I was at an early age (around ten years of age).
So I started participating in events at school, playing the guitar and singing since I was fifteen years old. Then I appeared in Greek – Rock music scenes, where I started to stimulate the interest of the world, interpreting songs of major performers.
At the age of eighteen I began to compose music, write lyrics and present my work through my bands, playing in larger musical scenes for the next three years. At the age of twenty one I started singing in larger scenes of Thessaloniki accepting congratulations from well-known performers.
In 2008 my contact with my partner Rias was the beginning of my new CD creation in Ria’s studio, looking always for new sounds that keep up with the sounds of modern music period.
