Popi Maliotaki is a greek pop-folk singer, born and raised in Crete, Greece. The year of birth is unknown, however it was confirmed through her official website that she was born on October 16th.
Popi’s debut album “Απαραίτητη αγάπη μου” (My necessary love) was released through Alpha Records in 2006., but it was not until she released her sophomore album that she rose to fame. “Άλλη μια φορά” (One more time) was released in summer 2007 and turned gold within a few months. Her third record and most successful to date, “Ποπάρα”, includes her biggest hit “Είμαι η Ποπάρα” (I am Popara, also known as “Δεν είμαι η Beyonce” - I am not Beyonce) sang in many different languages, including Turkish and Chinese.
