Marantis Leonidas

Leonidas Marantis was born in Athens in 1981 and from his early years he started singing and playing the guitar. He was a member of a couple of rock bands and participated in several gigs.In 2000, Leonidas moved in London where he obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in Telecommunications Engineering. He also started composing his own songs, influenced by british rock and the english weather.
Leonidas is currently a PhD student at University College London, working on antenna arrays. During the last year, he often travels to Athens where he works on his first demo album with the help of a few friends (Stefanos Pavlakis, Myron Stratis, Aris Lanarides). The demo album is arranged and produced by Stefanos Daniilidis at Unison Home studio. Stefanos has also helped Leonidas composing the music of "Gia Sena" track.
