Merqree Rises

MerQree Rises is the side project of It Won’t Die’s guitarist Q. The project focuses more about inner feelings and some sort of craziness we all keep inside of us. Q started playing guitar when he was asked to play for a Greek band named Arcana back in 1998. Then when Arcana split, he joined the group Stillborn which lasted only 3 months. Years passed without any band for Q but then he created the band Suiciders, a mix of Nu Metal and Metalcore. Due to some problems, the band split but 2 of Suiciders members with Q created a new band with a new drummer. The band’s name is It Won’t Die and still after 2 years it exists. During their release for their EP the drummer left the band and so they hired the drummer of Hangover ( a Greek alternative rock band) to join. At this point the band is almost ready but things came up and It Won’t Die stays in the numb mode for now. As for Q, he started to create several songs with a little help from a PC and so he decided that he should release these songs in another project…all that was missing was a name.
