Model Spy, The

The initiative is friendship. Music is the mean. Communication is the terminus ad quem. Borrowing the title of the track “Model Spy” by Cinerama, members of ex-group Paraffin felt the need to set a new project. The first outcome of the project was the recording for some original piece of music for the short film “Souvenirs” by Alex Kakaniaris., a film that was projected in Festivals of Denmark, Drama and Athens. This contribution was followed by the recording of the music for another short film called “Overhours” produced and directed by Nikoleta Leousi. Shortly afterwards the Model Spy prepared the first four-track E.P. , produced by Steve Ladopoulos at Undersound Studios in Athens. During summer of 2007 the Model Spy covered and recorded the Television Personalities track “I know where Syd Barrett lives” that was included in the “All Those Times We Spent Together – A Tribute To The Television Personalities” released by Canadian label The Beautiful Music (TBM).
