Papadopoulos Bambis (Tripes)

Babis Papadopoulos c.v.
Born 1967 in Gianitsa; grew up in Thessaloniki where he still lives.
Autodidact musician; he started playing the guitar at the age of 12. First influenced by Rock music; since the early '80 he participates in smaller groups in Thessaloniki. In 1984 he starts cooperating with the group "TRIPES"; in 1985 they record their first record. There follow another six records and many concerts in Greece and some abroad.
In 2000 he made the orchestration of Thanasis Papakonstantinou's record "Βραχνός προφήτης"; in 2002 the same composer's record "Αγρύπνια".
Since the fall of 2002 he cooperates with saxophonist-clarinetist Floros Floridis and in 2003 they record as duet the record: "F.L.O.R.O. II - F.ictional L.ies O.n R.ight O.ccasions".
They continue making live appearances.
