Biography

Thanos Petrelis was born and grew up in Athens.
Since his childhood, his love for singing was obvious; but without having thought of being professionally involved.
It was in 1998 where he started (professionally) his live shows in Athens.
Since then, he is been unfailingly singing until 2002 when he decides to participate in the first greek TV talent show, the Fame Story. From the begging of the show, he marks out until the final round when he finds himself between the three winners.
From that moment, his success will be followed by live shows (with the group of Fame Story) in Athens and Thessaloniki and concerts all over Greece; whereas during autumn 2003 he sings with Peggy Zina in Thessaloniki and Athens.
In 2004 summer, apart his appearances on the stage, he releases his first disc “Exei to hroma tou ouranou” sealed with the cooperation in two songs, with the “hits” composer Phoebus. Obviously the two songs became great hits and his album became gold with more than 30,000 sales.
