Biography

Panagiotis Rafailidis was born in Athens, Greece on January 3rd and belongs in the sign of Capricorn. A newly established artist who promises great moments of artistic expression.
The art of singing became a significant part of his life by total coincidence! A close friend- singer herself- convinced Panagiotis to participate in the singing competition Eurostar, whose winner is selected to represent the country in the 2004 Eurovision song contest. Panagiotis secured the 4th position, which gave him a boost to make the next step in the singing career. He immediately got proposed to perform next to a great singer of Greek popular music, Yannis Ploutarhos; and then came his first contract with a big record label, Minos EMI!
During the winter of 2004-05, the legendary Haris Alexjou and the exceptional Eleutheria Arvanitaki welcomed Panagioti in their show, while following that unique collaboration he met again with Yiannis Ploutarhos.
His debut album released by Minos EMI is entitled "Thelo na matho" and is based on modern soungs and rhythms.
