Manolis Rasoulis was born on 28th of September, 1945 in Heraklion, Crete. In 1963 he studied direction in Stavrakos School, Athens. He was working in a newspaper at the same time.

O Μανώλης Ρασούλης δεν πέθανε μόνος και απομονωμένος όπως γράφουν κατά κόρον σήμερα οι εφημερίδες και τα ηλεκτρονικά ΜΜΕ. Ο Ρασούλης έκανε συναύλιες , δίσκούς , συναναστρεφόταν μαζί μας καθημέρινα στις βόλτες του στην πλατεία ναυαρίνου του κέντρου της θεσ/νίκης και στην αγαπημένη του γειτονιά και τόπο κατοικίας του την προσφυγομάνα Τούμπα. Ο Ρασούλης κύριοι δημοσιογράφοι δεν ήταν παράξενος , περίεργος και εκκέντρικός,ήταν ένας υπερασπιστής του αυτονόητου, ήταν ένας υπέροχος άνθρωπος.
