Spy F & The Zakulas

Spy F & The Zakulas is a greek alternative rock - hip hop band based in Athens. Their debut album was released in 2003 by Pop Art Records (www.popart.gr) following a few EPs and demos. Although they always work with lots of friends on their material their line up is: Spyros ‘Spy’ Faros (guitars, e-bow, sequencer, vocals), Ntoura (vocals), Nikos Artemhs (loops, samples), Giorgos Argirides (scratches, samples, programming), Kostis Kousoulos (sound adjustments & FX). Their music is a combination of the genres mentioned above, its base is hip hop (‘poetry with rhythm’) with lots of samples with some support from guitars, a piano and a drum set.
