Ta Roda tis Erimou

Another important greek band of the '90s which unfortunetally wont be active for a long period. They started in the small town of ptolemaida (central/north greece) in 1995, the city had already gave us another great band, Ipogia Trohia (underground Orbit). This is their first -of the 2 albums- they made (the other "Me tin plati ston tiho (with the back in the wall)" -1999).
Their sound and style can be characterized as pure "greek rock" with lot of alternative elements and the guitars been intense. Hard to say which are their greatest songs, maybe "pali zontanos (alive again)", "tora tha figo (now i'll go). The band was known for its greats live concerts and their fans (most of them relatives and friends) who travelled with the them in all greece. The name derives from a kind of stones that a like roses and are found in the dessert.
