Tavridis Dimitris

The band was formed back in 2001 by Dimitris Tavridis (guitar, composition, lyrics) and was first named 'Delear'. In the meanwhile several changes had been done to the composition of the band. In 2005 the name of the band is turned into 'Chrysallis', and in September 2006 the members of the group entered the studio to record their first cd "Olou Tou Kosmou oi Skies" which released by Melissamusic and had been produced by George Pentzikis. The cd contains eleven songs. Its style belongs to the spectrum of rock, with indie and hard rock elements. The band has participated in many important music events such as the river party of Ardas in July 2006, with famous artists. After many years of hard work and various live performances, with their sponteneous style and their unique stage presence, Chrysallis won public recognition on the rock scene of Thessaloniki and the rest of Greece. Their debut album received positive comments by the public and the critics.
