Tomas Aris

Aris was born and raised in the land of musical legends such as Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Frankie Valli & Frank Sinatra. Yes, you guessed it, the Great State of New Jersey, USA. He was exposed to music at an early age by his grandfather who was a music connoisseur. It was in the late 70’s when he first experience the magical energy of music from artist like Prince, The Sugar Hill Gang, Kurtis Blow, Elvis Presley & of course The Beatles. In 1983 he debuted professionally as DJ. The following year he moved to Greece furthering his career as a DJ playing in some of the trendiest clubs in Athens. He became very popular in the clubs due to the fact that he would not only play and mix the dance hits of the day, but sing the instrumental versions. (Long before Karaoke was even invented.) It was in the Mediterranean nightclubs that he further explored and evolved his musical direction. Inspired by his favorite artists i.e. Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Prince and Elvis Presley, he found the need to express himself in song.
