Y Not

Y-Not is a Greek rapper, lyricist and music producer.
He was born in 1981 and grew up in Paleo Faliro (Athens).
He began to deal with music in 2000 and few years later he created his first group, “Funked Up”, along with Mo Skillz and Dj Priest.
Recording their first demo at the end of 2004, they pulled the attention of “Atlantis” radio station which included a song of Funked Up in one of their “Hip-Hop” compilations, and agreed to circulate their first music recording work via the “Atlantis Records” music recording company in 2007, titled “The Classics… Volume 1”. This CD contained a few collaborations (Ominus, Evnus, Sifu Versus, K-Chill, Lagnis e.t.c.). From this CD two songs turned into music videos - “The city never sleeps” (I poli den kimate pote), “Especially with you” (Mazi sou idika).
During those 2 years, until their CD came out, he featured in Ominus’ “Official Comeback Mixtape” and in Evnus’ CD “Coexistence”.
