Zaharakis Antonis

Antonis Zaharakis was born in November 1969 in Rethimno Crete. In 1983 he took his first lessons in drums at the Municipal Band music school of Rethimno (of which he remains an active member), with professor Nikos Antonakakis. He is a member of the Experimental Symphonic Orchestra of Rethimno and a member of a musical group called “Voices of the South”. At the same time he composes music and has also kept himself occupied with the instrumentation of several pieces in record works. He has collaborated with the groups “Voices of the South”, and “Trifono”, with Stelios Bikakis, with Kostas and Manolis Verdinakis, with Soula Daskalomarkaki, and others.
