Axegnii Perates

In August 1997 a common love for the island’s musical traditions, shared by some young artists that fate had brought together by chance, made them form the band “Axsegnioi Perates”.

Its five members come from Crete and their repertoire includes sounds from the island of Crete as well as from other parts of Greece. So far, they have recorded three CDs with the recording company Cretan Musical Workshop of Mr. Stelios Aerakis.

In March 1999, their first CD is released titled “Axsegnioi Perates” and it includes their own work as well as several remakes of old songs. Two years later, their second CD “Erotikoi Dialogoi” is released where they present more of their personal work.

Their third CD comes out in August 2003 and it is titled “En ergo kai logo”. During this period “Axsegnioi Perates” have presented their work at concerts organized by municipalities, unions, radio and TV stations.
