Dantis first experimentations with Greek folk music led him to the creation of the album "Ala" in 1993. The following year he returned to his much-loved pop and rock influences, giving rise to his fourth studio album, simply named "4". The album became a huge success, and the track "Kapoios s'agapaei" from the album offered Dantis more airtime on MTV.

The song was included in the soundtrack of the movie, and with the combination of the success of the movie, the soundtrack literally sky-rocketed, even from its first days of release.
