Zervakis Giorgos

George Zervakis was born at 21/06/1972, in W.Germany, although his origination is from Messara. Today, at 35 years old, he has got 14 personal discographies, which have known great success, he is now the absolute expessionist of young people, who came closer to cretan music with him, while every appearance of him is being discussed for a long time.

At the age of 12, he attend classes at the conservatoire of the memorable Kostas Mountakis for about 2 years, where from the beggining he distinguished for his talent. So having good base and taking the decision to make real his ideas and his dreams on music, George Zervakis followed the flow of regeneration. This had as a result to confront at his path not only tough critics, but also many that blurred from his success, copied him.

Himself, original and innovator, he continues to taste his success, to enrich his music and to make unique performances at his songs and mantinades.

He has contributed at a great deal, in hearing and loving the cretan music from many people beyond Crete. So it isn't luck, that he has fanatic audience in the whole Greece.

He has appeared with enormous success in Naxos, Kos, Astypalaia, Serifo, Rhodes, Santorini, Kalymnos, Karpathos, Kaso, Tilo, Edessa, Xanthi, Komotini, Thessalonica, but also in America and Canada. He knows triumph however also in Athens, where he gives dynamic present each year and where thousands persons deify him, and have fun with him up to the morning hours.

George Zervakis is a simple and steady man, with sensitive character. It isn't difficult to approach him and you love him from the first time. A child that grew up and despite his success he stayed pure in heart and his feelings.

Those that know him, they talk about him with the best words. Those that don't know him, they should bother to meet him. It's worth trying!
