Singer, musician, author, poet, professor of greek folklore at the University of Santiago in Chile and phonetics teacher in several conservatoires.
She was born in Athens on February 8, 1913, but spent her tender years in France (Paris & Marseille). When she finished highschool, she attended Economics lessons for one year and was accepted at the Political Science School, and at the same time she got a diploma from the French Academy. She was attracted to music and singing from an early age, so she studied orthophony and phonetics.
In 1935 she makes her first appearance as a journalist and a year later she starts working as a singer.
