Mikael Delta was born and raised in Athens where he studied graphic design and illustration.
He begun writing music in 1992, as a lead member of the band Stereo Nova (the best Greek band according to MTV Europe in 1994). Stereo Nova produced 5 albums and were connected powerfully with a fanbase that slowly but steadily grew larger and lasted many years after their break-up in 1997.
In 1996 he released his first solo work entitled The Picture, under the famous techno label R & S Records in Belgium .
In 1999 his second album Blue Emotions was released in Glasgow by Glasgow Underground Records and received excellent reviews by the British music press (Dj Magazine, Mixmag, Jockey Slut). The same year he released his album Nepeta in Greece under the small indie label Studio2 Records.
In 2000 he collaborated with the Greek artist Tania Tsanaklidou and they released the best selling single Mia Agapi Mikri  (A Little Love) under the indie label of Mylos. The track was included in the French compilation “Siddharta”, compiled by DJ Ravin (known for his Buddha Bar series).
