People of all ages are welcomed to entertain, to communicate and to listen to the old classics along with fresh releases of Greek music. The video collection of the website stands out because of its uniqueness and satisfies even the most demanding visitor. All www.mygreek.fm services, such as listening to the radio, reading/adding blogs, chat, sending/receiving messages, viewing/adding videos, viewing/adding images, uploading/listening to the songs, uploading albums, submitting comments etc are absolutely free. |

New registration Click on “New registration” which is located at the right top side of the home page. In case you want to register as a simple user (listener) then choose a “User” tab, in case you are an artist, choose an “Artist” tab. In case you register as an Artist, after confirmation of your identity, you will be able to manage your page entirely (to upload audio-video material, communicate with your fans, write blogs and many other things).

Entering your account In order to enter your account you must type in your username in “Login” field and your password in “Password” field. Then you should click on “Login” button. In case you don’t remember the login details of your account please refer to “Forgot your password?” help text. |

Forgot your password? In case you have forgot your password click on “Forgot your password?” phrase which is located at the right top corner of the home page. In a new window that will appear type in your e-mail address right to “E-mail” field and click on “Send” button. You’ll instantly receive your registration details. |

Type of accounts Upload user It is a user of the website who has the ability to add photos, biographies, video descriptions, blogs, music genres and events. Also that user can upload albums, tracks and videos. All the material uploaded by “Upload user” becomes visible on the website after the moderator’s confirmation.
Artist user It is a user of the website who has been registered as an Artist (new or already existed). This user has all the abilities of an “Upload user” plus the ability to make instant changes to the artist’s profile he/she is connected with.
It is a user of the website who has acquired the abilities of “Secure user” after the agreement with the website administration. This user has all the abilities of “Upload user” with the difference that all uploaded material and changes can be performed instantly without a prior confirmation.
It is a user of the website who has confirmed his/her e-mail address after the registration and acquired the abilities of “Moderator” after the agreement with the website administration. This user has endless abilities and he/she can manage the whole content of the website. |

Why the duration of the tracks is 30 seconds long? You have the ability to listen to the songs for 30 seconds in an average quality if you are not a registered user. Contrary all registered users have the ability to listen to the full length songs and in excellent quality. |

What is the cost of a subscription and what are the privileges? The cost of subscription is 1.99 Euro for 1 month and 9.90 Euro for 1 year. The privileges are:

General Once you are located on an artist’s page you can see and listen to the whole discography of the particular artist, collections he/she took part in, videos and photos. You can also edit artist genre, become a fun or leave a comment. While you are under an “upload user” status (look “Getting Started: The Basics” ⇒ “Type of accounts”), you can add and edit artist biography, upload photos, videos (look “Upload New Video”) and albums (look “Upload New Album”). |

Biography The artist biographies are composed and published on the website by users and you can correct or replace them with another fresh biography in case you consider the already existed biography as incomplete or incorrect. |

Add/Edit artist’s biography After the registration and your e-mail confirmation you’ll be able to add and edit artists’ biographies of www.mygreek.fm. To edit a biography, you must visit an artist’s page and click on “Edit” right above the biography (if it is already available). In case the biography of an artist does not exist, you can easily add it by clicking on “Add biography to XXX”. In both cases in order to save the biography, you must click on “Save biography” button. If you change your mind and want to leave the add/edit biography window, click on “Close” button. |

Insert images in biography During the biography adding or editing you are able to insert images. |

Artist music genre selection If you believe that the music genre on the artist’s page does not represent him/her, you can choose the music genre that according to your beliefs suits to the artist better and we will examine your proposition as soon as possible. To do that, click on “Edit” button which is located right next to the word “Genre”. In the window that will appear click on the button “Select music genres” and check the boxes on the left of each music genre that you want; you can also uncheck the boxes of music genres that don’t represent the artist. Right after you complete this step click on “Save” button which is located below and you will see the music genres that you chose in a field right below the artist’s name. You can also leave your comment to moderators in a text window right below the phrase “Leave your comment”, in order to understand better the reason of your choice. Finally, click on “Save” button to send your preposition. |

Become a fun To become a fun of an artist you must click on “Become a fan” phrase which is located right below the artist’s main photo. After becoming a fan you’ll be notified about artist’s news and releases via the notifications “By artists” tab of your personal profile. |

Upload artist photo You can upload a photo to an artist by clicking on “Add photos” from the artist’s photos flash album which is located right below the discography section. In a new window you must click on “Upload file” and choose an appropriate file from your computer. The maximum size of a single photo must be less than 10MB and the supported file formats are.jpeg, .png, .gif. When the photo will be uploaded, a “pending approval” message will appear beneath it. If the photo agrees with our terms of use it will be published immediately. |

Leave a comment To leave a comment click on “Add comment” button, at the bottom of an artist page, then type in your text in “Message” field, upload image (optional) by clicking on “Browse” button next to the word “Image” and finally click on “Send” to post your comment. |

Artist’s VIP status When you see the “VIP” sign on the main artist’s photo, means that the real artist is operating his own profile. In order to see all "VIP" artists of www.mygreek.fm website, go to the "Artists" page by using the main menu and click on "VIPs" link. |

“Most popular” You can see the most listened artist’s songs in “Most popular” window. The more the song is listened the higher place it takes on the scale. The most listened song takes the first place. |

On Air This window shows the most recently listened songs of users. The first place usually takes a song which is listened right now. |

General All users can exchange messages among them by using the internal mail. You can enter on the “mail page” by clicking on letter shaped image which is located at the right top area of every page, right below your username and left from your “Avatar”. |

Send new message While you are located in categories “Inbox”, “Outbox” or “Drafts” click on “New Message” and creating new message form will appear. Next to the “To:” field type in the username of the recipient or click on the word “To:” and choose the recipient from the list (Detailed instructions below – “Address book”). Next, type in the subject of the message in the empty field on the right of the word “Subject:” and the message right next to the word “Text:”. You can also upload a file that will be sent to the recipient along with the message. The permitted file formats that can be sent along with the message are (.jpeg, .doc, .zip etc.) and the file size can’t be more than 50 MB. In order to upload a file click on “Attach file” button and choose a file from your computer. Finally, after completing the message click on “Send” button. You can always save your message in drafts for later editing. To cancel the procedure, click on “Cancel” button. |

Delete message In order to delete a message just check the box on the left and then click on “Delete” button which is located right above. To delete all the messages of a single page just click on the box on the left of the word “From” or “To” and click on “Delete” button afterwards, which is located right above. |

Messages order You can order the messages of each category by date, by subject or by username. In order to do that just click on the drop down arrow which is located on the right of the phrase “Order by:” and choose by which the parameter you want to order the messages. |

Search In case you want to find received, sent, deleted or saved messages faster and easier, then just type in the key word in an empty field on the left of the “Search” button and press “Enter” or click on “Search” button instead. |

Reply to message When you open a message that you have previously received from a user, moderator or administrator of www.mygreek.fm website, at the left side the “Reply” button appears. By clicking on “Reply” button you’ll be instantly transferred to a message creating form where the recipient’s details and the subject will be already typed in. In the field right next to the word “Text:” you can type in the reply message below or above the original text. You can also upload a file that will be sent to the recipient along with the message. The permitted file formats that can be sent along with the message are (.jpeg, .doc, .zip etc.) and the file size can’t be more than 50 MB. In order to upload a file click on “Attach file” button and choose a file from your computer. Finally, after completing the message click on “Send” button. You can always save your message in drafts for later editing. To cancel the procedure, just click on “Cancel” button. |

Forward message When you have received a message and you want to forward it to another user, you just have to open it and click on the “Forward” button. In a message creating form that will appear type in the username of the recipient next to the “To:” field or click on the word “To:” and choose the recipient from the list (Detailed instructions below – “Address book”). In the field right next to the word “Text:” you can add a message below or above the original text that you want to forward. You can also upload a file that will be forwarded to the recipient along with the message. Recover message All the messages that are included in “Deleted” category can be recovered (transferred) to their original category, for example to “Inbox” messages. In order to recover a message just check the box on the left and click on “Recover” button which is located right above. |

Ignore List In case you receive annoying messages from a user or for some reasons you don’t want to receive other messages from a particular user, you can add that user to “Ignore List”. Once the user has been added to ignore list, he won’t be able to send you any other messages. In order to add a user to “Ignore List” just open one of the messages that you have received from that user and click on the phrase “Move user "XXX" to Ignore list” which is located at the bottom of the message window. |

Address Book (“To:”) By clicking on “To:” button you’ll be transferred to “Address Book” of your account. The following tabs will appear:
In order to use one of the contacts from “Address Book” and insert it in the empty field “To:”, just click once on an avatar or a username of the contact. |

General The settings of your account can be changed wherever you want and any way you want. “Settings” menu is located at the top right side of the screen and on the left side of your avatar. Click on “Settings” in order to proceed to the editing page. During your stay in “Settings” menu you always have the opportunity to return to your profile page by clicking on “Back to my profile”. |

Account An “Account” tab includes your registration details, such as: username, e-mail, your real name, last name, sex, date of birth, country. All these details can be changed except the “username” which is unique feature and can’t be changed. |

Change password You can change the password of your account via the “Change password” tab. To do that you must type your current password in “Current password” field and your new password in “New password” and “Re-type new password” fields. To complete the process you must click on “Save” button. |

Public info In “Public info” tab you can insert more information about yourself, such as: MSN & Skype addresses, ICQ number, e-mail address which will be shown to other users, your website address and your complete description. Click on “Save” button afterwards in order to save your data. |

Avatar Your “Avatar” will be shown on the left side of you comments but this is not the only place where it will appear. The purpose of “Avatar” is to represent the user in best possible way. |

User photos In “User photos” tab you have the opportunity to add photos to your profile and also to set one of your already uploaded photos as “Main photo”. |

Invisibility There is a possibility to visit the accounts of other users without being seen. You can achieve that by checking the option on the left side of the phrase “Make myself invisible to others”. In that case you won’t be included in “Visitors” tab of other users. To became visible again just choose the “Visible to others” option. Also by becoming invisible your listened tracks won't appear in "On Air" block of the homepage. |

What is a Playlist? Playlists are actually lists which are composed of music tracks of your choice that have a sequence especially configured by you. By creating Playlists you obtain an opportunity to listen to your favorite tracks directly and non-stop straight from our website. |

Create Playlist To create a Playlist for the first time just roam around our website, find music tracks that you are interested in and click on |

Play Playlist In order to listen to the songs from your playlist, choose the option “Play” and then click on any song that is already contained in the playlist and it will start playing automatically. Also you can click on “Play” button which is located at the bottom of your playlist. In especially designed “music player” of www.mygreek.fm you can change songs (next-previous), you can pause, stop playing and also set a random play or a continuous play. |

Select Composers and Co-authors (Album type: Album) In “Composers and Co-authors:” field you must choose composers and co-authors of the album. In order to achieve that click on “Select artists” button and in a new window that will appear you can choose an artist name with two different ways. In case the composers and co-authors of the album are more than one, follow the procedure that is described above in a same way, in order to add two or more artists. In case the artist is not included in the list and can’t be added by typing his name in, that means this artist is not registered in our database and you have to add him manually. Here are the instructions on how to achieve that: |

Album music genre selection In order to choose the music genre that suits your album better click on “Select music genres” button. In a new window that will appear, you can check the boxes on the left of each genre that suits your album better. Click on “Save” button afterwards. In case you want to leave the genres list, just click on “Close” button. |

Upload cover image In order to upload a cover to your album, click on “Upload image” button and one more click on “Upload photo”. Choose an image from your computer, mark the exact place of the image that you want to upload or fit an image into a squared shape, then click on “Continue” button to complete the upload. You can replace the cover of the album during the whole album uploading process by clicking on “Change image” and repeating the above instructions. |

Once the uploading will be finished (100%), you must answer to the question “Artist sings all these songs?” by checking the “Yes” or “No” boxes. In case you check the box “No”, two other choices will appear where you must choose if the song is sung together with other artists or if the song is sung by another artist. No matter what you choose you must type in the artist name by clicking on “Select artists” (look “Select artist”). To add the next song click on “Add new track” button and follow again the instructions above. In case you want to change the order of the songs that you have uploaded just click on blue arrows “Up” and “Down” which are located on the right of each song. You can also delete the songs separately by clicking on “X” button which is also located on the right. Finally to publish the album that you just uploaded click on “Publish album” button. |

Unpublished albums In case you had previously created albums but you weren’t able to publish them, these albums are saved in the “Unpublished albums” section of your personal profile, where you can select them. You can also choose them right after you enter the “Upload album” section in the field “You have unpublished albums!”. By clicking on one of these albums you can continue with the editing and publishing the album. |

Anonymous user In case you would like your username to be shown on the page of the album you want to upload, you must activate the “Visible” (Albums) option via the “Settings” menu and the “Invisibility” tab of your account. |

Anonymous user In case you would like your username to be shown within the tracks information that you want to add or edit, you must activate the “Visible” (Tracks) option via the “Settings” menu and the “Invisibility” tab of your account. |

The uploaded material must also agree with our terms of use. All users will be rewarded for each successful uploading attempt with 5 days subscription. |

Upload video file In order to upload a video file you must click on “Upload file” button and choose a video from your computer. The file formats that can be accepted from the www.mygreek.fm website are .mpeg, .mp4, .mov, .avi, .wmv, .flv and the maximum size of the file must be less than 250 MB. Once the uploading will be completed (100%), you can publish the video by clicking the “Publish video” button. |

Replace video file In order to replace a video file you must first upload one (see “Upload video file”) and when the video uploading will be completed (100%), check the box on the left of the phrase “I want to replace an existing video file”. Then you have to type in the name of the video that already exists in the empty field right below the phrase “Please find video for replacement:” and to continue click “Search” button (Attention! The search is processing only the videos of an artist that you have previously selected, if the result does not satisfy you, you can choose another artist from the “Artists:” field). To complete the procedure you must click on “Replace” word which is located next to the video that you want to replace. In case you have chosen the wrong video from the search list, you can always choose another video by clicking on “Change” link. Finally, by clicking on “Replace video” button which is located at the bottom side of the window, the video will be replaced. |

General The main concept of the blogs must be relevant to the music. Based on that you are free to choose any topic you like as long as it will agree with our terms of use. In order to add a blog you must click on “Add blog” from the “Blogs” page or from your personal profile. |

Add new blog In the “Add new blog” window you must type in the title of the blog next to the word “Title”, keywords that represent and define the blog next to the phrase “Keywords” (separating them by space) and the text of your blog next to the word “Text”. You can also upload a cover image to your blog by clicking on “Browse”, next to the “Cover image” phrase and choosing an image file from your computer.
In a new window that will appear you can choose an artist name with two different ways.

To delete one of the blogs that you have previously created, just open the blog that you want to delete and click on the word “Delete” at the right bottom side of the page. |

General On events page you can learn the latest news about the appearances of your favourite artists, where they perform, the tickets prices, the subject of their appearance and many more. To add an event, you have to click on “Add event”, while you are located on “Events” page. |

Event title On “Add event” page you must enter the title of the event in Greek and English languages. You can use the “Translit from Greek” button to make it easier. |

Upload cover image In order to upload a cover to the event, click on “Upload image” button and one more click on “Upload photo”. Choose an image from your computer, mark the exact place of the image that you want to upload or fit an image into a rectangular shape, then click on “Continue” button to complete the upload. You must upload a high quality image. It should have a minimum width 400 pixels and a minimum height 173 pixels. You can also replace the cover of the event during the whole event uploading process by clicking on “Upload image” and repeating the above instructions. |

Posted events When you choose an artist who is already connected to other events of the website, a new window called “Posted events” will appear on the right side of the page. Within that window you can see all the already existed events of an artist or artists that you chose. |

Select artist In “Artists:” field you must choose an artist or artists of the event. In order to achieve that click on “Select artists” button and in a new window that will appear you can choose an artist name with two different ways. |

Select music type The next step is a music type selection, if event includes live music performances and vocals then you must choose “Live music” option, but if the main theme of the event is an electronic sounds or mixing (dj-ing) of different kind of songs then you must choose a “Club/Dj set” option. |

Select event type If an event is taking place only once and doesn’t continue then you must choose a “Single event”. If an event is taking place more than once at the same place, which means it is a recurring event, then you must choose “Continuous/Stage event”. Select city Click right next to the word “City:” in order to choose a city or town where the event takes places. If the city or town you want to choose is located outside Greece, then you must select the last option of the list “Outside Greece”. Afterwards choose a country from the list, right next to the word “Country:”. |

Place of the event In the field “Where the event will take place:” you must enter the name of the place where the event will occur, in both Greek and English languages. For example: a name of a theatre or a centre, a nightclub, a stadium or an outdoor place. You can use the “Translit from Greek” button to make the translation easier. |

An address In the field “Address:” you must enter the address where the event will take place in both languages, Greek and English. Except of the street name and the number, this field can contain an area name, area code, or even a city or town name in case you chose another country. |

Other fields In “Tel. number:” field you can type in a telephone number where people, who are interested, can obtain more information about the event. In “Price(s):” fields you can type in the entrance price and prices for other services provided during the event. It is preferable to specify the prices and the services. For example: “Champagne bottle price 120€”. |

Select date and time To select a date for a single event, you must click on “Click here to select date” button and choose an event day from a pop-up list. Afterwards choose the event time from the pop-up windows by clicking on the buttons right next to the word “Time:”.
To select dates in Tour event you must choose the date of the first event by clicking on “Click here to select date” button at the right of the phrase “First event date:” and then you must choose the date of the last event by clicking on “Click here to select date” button at the right of the phrase “Last event date:”. The next step is the selection of the tour days. Click on “Select event days” and select the days you want, push on “Create events for selected days” afterwards. When the event forms will appear you’ll be able to delete any form you like by pressing on “X” button on the right of each form or you can add a new form by clicking on “Add event” button. You also have the opportunity to change the dates completely by clicking on “Change” link, which is located right above the event forms (i.e. an additional concert were added). In order to complete each form successfully you must use the appropriate help texts. |

Description You must enter a Greek and English description of the event. The description is a main text which informs all readers about the subject of the event. You should be careful with the spelling and grammar errors while you are entering the description text. You must also enter text in short description window which are located right below the main description window. By clicking on the word “Copy”, the text from the main description window will be copied to the short description window, where you can edit it later. |

Preview & Publish During the add event process you have the opportunity to watch the event preview via the “Preview event” window on the right of the page. In that window you can see the final appearance of the event, just like it will be appeared on homepage and all events page. If you already have the preferable result, in order to publish the event, just click on “Publish event” button which is located at the bottom of the page. |
